My enthusiasm for web design was spontaneously discovered through a process of exploration and admiration. I have long admired the skills of those who possess the ability to craft websites, but lacked the know-how to enter the field myself. It wasn’t until I enrolled in a course titled “Foundations of Interactive Media” that my passion for web design truly took root.
During the course, I was tasked with creating a website using Adobe XD. This initial undertaking proved challenging, yet incredibly rewarding. It was through this project that I discovered a genuine interest in interactive media, and became even more motivated to develop my skills in web design. As the semester progressed, we delved into the fundamentals of website development, learning to code websites using HTML and CSS. It was during this phase that I truly fell in love with the intricacies of web design.
As a current student at UNC, I am eager to continue advancing my skills and knowledge in the field of web design. I look forward to learning more about the latest techniques and technologies, and applying these to create unique, engaging, and functional web experiences.
The images below are snapshots of the website I created on Adobe XD, showcasing both desktop and mobile versions. Throughout the development of this project, I gained significant expertise in the utilization of wireframes, as well as the navigation of Adobe XD.

Below is the website I coded entitled “Weird, Wonderful North Carolina.” This project was instrumental in developing my proficiency in HTML and CSS coding, as well as the technical skills required to upload a website to a server. The website represents a significant milestone in my journey as a coder, and I believe that it is a testament to my growth and development in the field.
